AUSTRALIAN BLUES MUSIC FESTIVAL
The 2010 festival, the 14th edition of the event, will be held from the 11th – 14th February, and will feature predominately FREE shows across a number of venues as well as the city’s main park and the local regional conservatorium. There will be a number of higher profile acts offering ticketed shows.
JAMES BLUNDELL
James Blundell is acknowledged by many as the act single-handedly responsible for turning a younger demographic of Australians onto country music. He was the first young Australian country artist to create an impact on the mainstream pop charts and for many years was the highest selling country artist in the nation.
KEV CARMODY
Kev Carmody is an elder statesman in his cultural tradition of Lama Lama and Bundjalung. Respected and revered, this singer-songwriter combines a repertoire of bluntly eloquent protest songs and sparse lyrical ballads with breathtaking guitar technique and a warm down to earth manner.

DALLAS FRASCA
It’s no surprise that “Not For Love Or Money”, the debut album by Aussie roots/rock powerhouse Dallas Frasca has a sense of exhilaration and dynamics throughout. That’s because Frasca and her partner in crime, Jeff Curran (guitarist) wrote the tracks during a heavy-duty bout of touring.
ANNE KIRKPATRICK
A multi-award winning artist probably best known for her album, 'Out of The Blue'. Daughter of the late Slim Dusty and Joy McKean, Anne spent her childhood touring with the family show, going on to forge a solo career which has produced 13 albums to date. Her latest, "Showman's Daughter" has just been released.
PAUL GREENE
Paul Greene’s three and a half octave voice, catchy melodies, witty lyrics and unique arrangements make him one of Australia’s most exciting musical prospects. His music is a magnificent concoction of soul, folk, pop, roots and rock which he delivers all by his lonesome, with only a battery of well worn guitars, a stomp-box and a belt full of harmonicas for company.

WILSON PICKERS
An all-star interstate musical collaboration, The Wilson Pickers are better known as Queenslanders Danny Widdicombe, Ben Salter, Andrew Morris, and Victorians Sime Nugent and John Bedggood. They formed after a crazy idea of uniting some Queenslanders with some Victorians in the vague hope of inventing a bluegrass-style band.
